I’m so excited you’ve found your way to this little corner of my website.

I’m Stacey, a bridal and occasion hair and makeup artist, and this is where I’ll be sharing the behind-the-scenes of what really goes on in my world; one bobby pin, makeup brush, and early morning wedding call time at a time.

Over the years, I’ve had the absolute joy of glamming up hundreds (literally!) of amazing people for their most special moments; weddings, proms, photo shoots and everything in between.

What really sticks with me are the stories, the laughs, the nerves, the happy tears, and the real, beautiful humans I get to meet along the way. So I thought… why keep all these lovely memories to myself?

This Blog is where I’ll be sharing little snapshots of life “behind the brush”—the “real stories” of the brides, prom girls, mums, and best friends who sit in my chair. It’s not about showing off (okay, maybe just a teeny bit of hair and makeup magic), but more about celebrating the people, the emotions and the moments that make my job so special.

You’ll get to see what it’s really like working in the wedding and beauty industry; early starts, emotional first looks, wild weather challenges, last-minute lipstick swaps and everything in between.

There’ll be blog posts featuring real weddings I’ve worked on, makeup chair confessions that gave me goosebumps and even a few tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way.

I’ll chat about things like what it’s like working with teenage skin for prom or how I approach makeup for mature skin (hello, mother of the bride glow-up!).

You might even get a peek at some of the chats I have with my lovely clients; because let’s be honest, the best part of the job is the people.

I’ll also be sprinkling in a few “day in the life” style posts because let’s face it, people are always curious about what it’s actually like to be a hair and makeup artist. Spoiler alert: there’s a lot of coffee, a lot of hairspray, and a lot of very organised chaos.

This space is a celebration of real beauty, real events, and real people. I’m not about filters or fakery; just enhancing what’s already there and helping my clients feel like the very best version of themselves.

If you’re a past client reading this; thank you! If I’ve featured your photos or your story here, it’s because you’ve left a little mark on my heart and I want to celebrate that. And if you’re someone who’s thinking of booking me, I hope these stories give you a feel for who I am, how I work, and what you can expect (hint: a lot of attention to detail).

So make yourself a nice hot cuppa (or pour a glass of fizz), get comfy, and have a scroll through some of the lovely moments I’ve been lucky enough to be part of. This is where the memories live.
