Terms and Conditions – Stacey Evans

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at www.staceyevans.co.uk (“Website”), operated by Stacey Evans (“we,” “us,” “I,” “my,” “me,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Before proceeding with your booking and payment, you must carefully review these Terms and Conditions. These Terms set out the contractual agreements and obligations that apply when booking services with Stacey Evans Hair & Makeup.

By:

  • Confirming an appointment, and/or

  • Making any payment

You are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Website Use

By accessing or using this website, you agree that you will:

  • Use the website lawfully and responsibly

  • Not misuse, copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission

  • Not attempt to damage, disrupt, or interfere with website functionality

  • Not use any website content for commercial purposes without written consent

All website content, including but not limited to text, images, branding, and media, is owned by or licensed to Stacey Evans and is protected by copyright law.

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is given that the website will always be available or free from errors.

3. Services

Services include professional hair styling and makeup artistry for, but not limited to:

  • Weddings

  • Bridal trials

  • Proms

  • Special occasions

  • Photoshoots and events

Services may be provided either:

  • In salon, or

  • At an agreed location

4. Booking Fees and Booking Confirmation

Bridal Bookings

Wedding Date

  • A booking fee of £50 per service (hair or makeup)

  • Plus £20 per bridal party member

Trials

  • A booking fee of £50 is required to secure a trial appointment

Final Balance

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding date

  • Payment schedules are not offered

  • Final balances must not be transferred prior to the stated due date unless expressly agreed in writing

Occasion / Prom Bookings
  • A booking fee of £20 per service

  • The remaining balance is payable at the appointment

General Booking Fee Terms
  • Bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received

  • Booking fees are deducted from the final balance

  • All booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Client
  • Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • If a booking is rescheduled, a new booking fee will be required

Reduction of Services (Wedding Bookings)
  • A minimum of 6 months written notice is required

  • Cancellations within 6 months will not reduce the overall booking cost

Cancellation by Stacey Evans

In the unlikely event cancellation is required due to illness or unforeseen circumstances:

Reasonable efforts will be made to:

  • Provide a suitable replacement artist

If no replacement can be arranged:

  • Any remaining balance paid will be refunded

  • Booking fees and trial fees remain non-refundable

Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control

No liability is accepted for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic disruption

  • Venue access restrictions

  • Acts of nature

Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

6. Trials

  • One bridal trial is mandatory for wedding bookings

  • Additional trials will be charged at the current rate

Clients must provide:

  • Photos of themselves and any service recipients

  • Inspiration imagery where available

7. Communication

Once booked, clients must communicate via a single method:

  • Email OR

  • WhatsApp

Clients must include:

  • Full name

  • Wedding or booking date

Responses are typically within 48 hours, but may be longer during peak periods.

8. Additional Services and Amendments

  • Additional services or persons are subject to availability

  • Amendments are charged at current pricing at time of change

Prices are subject to annual review and may change.

9. Payments and Pricing

The booking client is solely responsible for:

  • All payments relating to the booking

  • Collecting payments from third parties (e.g. bridal party members)

Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash

Not accepted:

  • Cheques

  • PayPal

Proof of payment must be provided.

Late payment may result in late fees or cancellation of services.

10. Travel, Location and Additional Fees

Travel is charged at:

  • £0.55 per mile

Additional charges may apply:

  • Travel time exceeding 1 hour round trip — £30 per hour

  • Split venue — £30

  • Assistant artist — £30 per artist

  • Early start before 8am — £20 per hour per artist

  • Christmas Eve to New Year bookings — £75 per artist

The booking client is responsible for:

  • Parking

  • Tolls

  • Congestion charges

  • Overnight accommodation where required

11. Destination Weddings

The booking client is responsible for all travel-related costs including:

  • Flights

  • Transfers

  • Accommodation

  • Insurance

  • Local transport

Confirmation must be provided in advance.

12. Working Environment Requirements

Clients must provide:

  • Suitable working table space

  • Access to water

  • Electrical socket access

  • Adequate lighting

  • Clear venue access instructions

Abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behaviour will result in termination of services without refund.

13. Preparation Requirements

Makeup

Clients must:

  • Arrive with a clean face

  • Exfoliate and moisturise 24–48 hours prior

  • Apply fake tan 48 hours prior (not on face)

  • Groom brows in advance

  • Wear removable clothing

  • Insert contact lenses before appointment

Hair

Clients must:

  • Have clean, dry hair

  • Avoid product and hot tool use beforehand

  • Provide accessories in advance

  • Wear button or zip clothing

14. Illness, Allergies and Liability

Clients must disclose:

  • Allergies

  • Medical conditions

  • Skin conditions

  • Illnesses

By booking, clients agree to release Stacey Evans from liability relating to:

  • Allergic reactions

  • Injury

  • Complications

Services may be refused where contagious conditions are present.

15. Hygiene and Product Safety

Strict hygiene standards are maintained including:

  • Sterilised brushes per client

  • Disposable applicators

  • Sanitised equipment

Clients must ensure:

  • Pets are kept away

  • Products are not touched by third parties

Damage or contamination will be chargeable.

16. Photography and Social Media

Photos and videos may be taken of you for portfolio and marketing use.

Clients must inform Stacey Evans if they do not consent to image use.

Clients sharing images of the work must credit and tag Stacey Evans.

17. Data Protection

Client data will:

  • Not be sold

  • Not be shared with third parties

  • Only be used for booking and service delivery

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By making payment and confirming a booking, you confirm you:
