Suppliers at the Fox Inn wedding venue
I recently had the pleasure of holding a hair and makeup stand at a wedding fair at The Fox Inn in Stourton—and honestly, it was such a lovely day from start to finish. Being so close to home, it felt extra special to be there, and it completely made sense for me to be one of their recommended suppliers.
I took along one of my models and carried out a live hair and makeup demonstration, which was such a great way for brides to see everything in action. It was so nice chatting with so many lovely brides throughout the day—some of whom have since gone on to book their bridal hair and makeup with me, which I’m so grateful for.
I’ve worked at The Fox Inn many times already, with more weddings booked there this year and next, and it’s genuinely one of those venues I always look forward to returning to.

A Beautiful Local Wedding Venue – The Fox Inn, Stourton
The Fox Inn in Stourton is such a gorgeous venue, full of charm and character. Tucked away in the countryside, it offers that perfect mix of relaxed, rustic elegance with a really warm and welcoming feel. Oh and not to forget the food, the food here is incredible…yum!
It’s a venue that works beautifully for both intimate celebrations and larger weddings with stunning indoor spaces and loads of lovely outdoor areas that are perfect for drinks receptions and photos. The surroundings are just gorgeous, especially for natural, romantic wedding photography.
One of the standout things about The Fox Inn is how smoothly everything runs, the team Vicki and Lucy are so attentive and genuinely care about making each couple’s day perfect. It has such a calm, laidback atmosphere, which makes it a dream for wedding mornings too. The venue has onsite rooms available too for those all important wedding prep plans.
It’s easy to see why couples love it here and why it’s such a popular choice locally, it really does offer that perfect setting for a relaxed but beautifully styled wedding day.
Amy Takes Photos
Amy from Amy Takes Photos was there on the day, and I finally got to meet her in person—which was so lovely after admiring her work for a while.
She captured some beautiful photos of me and my model during the live demo, and her style is just stunning—so natural and effortless. She has such a warm, calming presence, and you can instantly feel how at ease she makes people, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.
Floral Secrets
Jo from Floral Secrets created the most incredible floral displays for the fair, honestly some of the most stunning flowers I’ve seen, she created a beautiful bridal bouquet last week for my bride and it was full of dark reds with pops of blue and green and peacock feathers, it was stunning. I’ve personally bought flower arrangements from Jo before and she is so creative; everything she makes feels completely unique and so thoughtfully put together. Her attention to detail is just amazing, and her work really brings a whole wedding look together beautifully.
Chamberlain Events
James from Chamberlain Events was also there, and it was so nice to see him doing what he does best—completely in his element with his guitar.
I met and spoken with James, and he really made such a lasting impression on me. He’s incredibly talented and so passionate about what he does, and you can really feel that when he performs, such a beautiful voice. He creates such a great atmosphere and I can just imagine how amazing he is on a wedding day.
A Lovely Day All Round
It really was such a great day, surrounded by so many talented suppliers and lovely brides-to-be. Events like this are such a nice reminder of how special the wedding industry is to be a part of.
