Appointment Preparation Advice
For Makeup Appointments:
- On the day of your appointment, please arrive with a clean face, free of makeup and skincare products.
- 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, gently exfoliate your skin and apply a good moisturiser/face mask.
If you use fake tan, apply it 48 hours before your makeup appointment, avoiding the face. (see this list for the best Tan Recommendation)
- If you wish to wax or tweeze your brows, please do so in advance to prevent redness or irritation during your makeup appointment.
- Wear clothes that are easy to remove to avoid disturbing your makeup while changing. A strapless top works well for dresses with an open neckline, and zippered garments allow for quick and effortless removal.
- Inform me of any allergies or sensitivities when making your booking.
- Brush your teeth before your appointment to prevent interfering with the lip products I’ll be applying.
- If you wear contact lenses, put them in before your appointment to avoid disrupting your eye makeup.
- To remove makeup, double cleanse your face I recommend using this product, here is the link.
- Remove false lashes by gently pulling from the outside inward.
For Hair Appointments:
- Make sure your hair is clean and dry before your appointment.
- Avoid using hair products or hot tools prior to your session.
- Show me any accessories, such as veils, vines, flower crowns, or jewellery, prior to the appointment, then bring them with you on the day so I can incorporate them into your hairstyle.
- Choose clothing that’s easy to remove without disrupting your hairstyle. A zip or button-up top is ideal for effortless changes after your appointment.
Lastly, sit back, relax, and take in the moment. Enjoy the experience as I bring your vision to life.
